The problem: We had a toilet issue that kept coming back despite 3 visits and different attempts to fix it from other plumbers. Eventually, both the toilet and shower started backing up with sewer water. The real fix: Paul brought the right technology to diagnose the problem. Down went a video camera into the drains, and he found the blockage that had been missed before. He got it all cleared out and removed the waste material. The difference: It finally felt like someone had found the real cause of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms. True professional: Paul responded quickly, got us scheduled as soon as possible, arrived on time, and was professional and easy to work with. Everything has been working great since. I also really appreciated being able to communicate clearly in English. Excellent service and highly recommended!

I bought a new washing machine from El Corte Ingles and paid for a "professional installation". Days after the machine was installed my downstairs neighbor reported water coming into her apartment. Living full time in NYC and part time in Lisbon, I freaked out. No one was even home using the washing machine. I got Paul@urgent plumbers' contact info from a friendly whatsapp group and contacted him on the fly. Within an hour he was inside my apartment in Baixa and diagnosed the problem. The "professional installers" from ECI did not tighten the connection and water was leaking. He screwed it up tight and said the problem was fixed. I offered to pay Paul for his time and he flatly refused saying it just wasn't necessary. What a professional. So that's all I have to say.
